My Activities

I am a textile artist living in Somerset, South West England. I love everything to do with fabric, threads, yarn and mixed media. I'm a member of the newly formed TextileSet, a group of enthusiastic stitchers from Dorset & Somerset, the online group Near & Far, West Country Embroiderers and Quirky Quilters.
I love the county of Somerset and enjoy walking my dog, Indie. I travel with her around England and France at every opportunity and we both have fun in our 'cottage garden'

TextileSet is born

Our new textile group has been formed and at present we have 8 members. We are going to meet on the last Wednesday of the month, commencing in earnest, in September.  We're aiming to exhibit in October 2019. Our chosen topic is::: Natural World; Man's Impact - very deep and meaningful and a little daunting at first, but I'm sure some interesting work will emerge. We have a mix of embroiderers, mixed media enthusiasts and a contemporary quilter - we are looking for four more members and are based in South Somerset, UK - if you're interested, send a message!

Exciting Times Ahead

Exciting! Forming a new textile group to meet monthly and aiming to exhibit in 2019 - probably October - 10 at the moment but hoping to have a round dozen. Watch this space!
