Out in the 'brief' sunshine today

Well first of all, the meeting of our branch of the Embroiderers Guild tomorrow is cancelled due to flooding here in the South West - it was to have been beaded collars; beading around cabochon.

I took the opportunity to get out with the dog this morning during the brief break in the constant rain; it was very pleasant in the sunshine, but the water levels are becoming quite worrying. The river is ready to break its banks and the ford has now become another 'river' tracking along the lane leading to it.

Amongst all the water destruction are some early signs of spring.
