More Travel Than Blogging - Part One

Well this year I've certainly been all over the place - that's travelling, not unorganized.  I maybe have not achieved as much embroidery, sewing and quilting as I'd like but I've definitely seen some wonderful places.  Back in April of 2018, I visited the county of Cornwall for five days.  I wanted to get down to enjoy this magical place again as I'd not been since 1997; I wanted to visit a dear friend who'd moved there about five years ago and also because it was where I'd spent my honeymoon.  I can't say that I was disappointed but I feel it had changed very much and the south coast in particular just didn't seem as welcoming and inviting as before - very commercialized now.  I came home via the north coast and along through north Devon and can say that I enjoyed this part of the trip more.
